Crazy J’s Fireworks complies with State and Local laws for each Crazy J’s Fireworks sales location.
Legal, Consumer Grade, Class C, 1.4G fireworks vary by State and Local laws.
Kansas:
Subject to: City and County restrictions.
Permitted: All pyrotechnic devices classified as consumer fireworks by DOT, except certain rockets.
Prohibited: Any rockets mounted on a wire or stick, including any device containing such rockets.
Missouri:
Subject to: City and County restrictions.
Permitted: Consumer Fireworks in compliance with the regulations of the CPSC.
Prohibited: Ground salutes that exceed DOT limits.
CPSC - The US Consumer Product Safety Commission, a federal agency responsible for testing and
approving all consumer fireworks. http://www.cpsc.gov
DOT - US Department of Transportation. The DOT is responsible for classifying explosives in the United States.
The DOT classification 1.4G, are Consumer Grade, Class C fireworks.
The DOT classification 1.3G, are Commercial Grade, Class B, display fireworks. http://www.dot.gov/
Crazy J’s Fireworks will not buy, sell or distribute Commercial Grade, Class B, 1.3G fireworks.
Crazy J’s Fireworks will not buy, sell or distribute M80’s, Silver Salutes, Cherry Bombs or other products that do not
meet CPSC, DOT, State of Kansas, State of Missouri regulations.
It’s the law, don’t even ask for such products.
